It’s our last blog post answering all the questions from Brides.com’s recent suggestion for all of you couples out there! I hope this series has been helpful and that it’s been informative too! Here we go!
How do you price your floral arrangements?
We follow industry standard pricing for all our floral arrangements.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
We charge a $150 delivery fee for wedding flowers within our wedding service area. Contact us for details on delivery fees if you’re located outside of our immediate service area.
Do you have an extra charge for the setup and breakdown of the floral décor?
Our fees for setup and breakdown aren’t something we consider “extra”, since it goes directly to paying our team for the on-site work for your event. Most florists will have labor fees separated out in invoices since it’s not something we have to charge sales taxes on.
How long do you need to set up?
This varies depending on the amount of pieces we’re creating for your event. For example, if we’re creating a large amount of floral installations for your day, we’ll need a minimum of 3 hours. We can discuss details about this once we know what specific items you’re wanting for your event.
What time will you arrive to deliver personal flowers and set up the ceremony and reception arrangements?
This will depend on the amount of time required to set up your florals (see above question). However we’ll never arrive LESS than 2 hours before your event to deliver all your items to you.
Is there an extra fee if I need you to stay throughout the ceremony to move arrangements to the reception site?
This would be factored in to our labor fees already in our invoice to you. When we’ve discussed your wedding plan, we’ll make sure to cover all the hours we’ll be on-site either before the event or during, to move from items from the ceremony to reception areas.
If we are having to stay until late hours (after 9pm) to move items then overtime charges will apply.
Are there any additional fees that have not already been taken into account?
We always make it our goal to include ALL fees in our first formal proposal/quote that is sent to you. Clarity and consistency and simplicity are our goals when communicating with couples planning events. Hidden fees would be frustrating for everyone!
How far in advance do I need to secure your services?
We recommend booking 9-12 months in advance, however feel free to get in touch with us even if your event is next week! We are here to help in any ways that we can!
How much is the deposit and when is it due?
Our deposit is a $250 non-refundable retainer fee. We are not able to reserve your event dates until this is paid. It’s due at the time of signing your design contract with us.
When is the final payment due?
Your final payment is due no less than 2 weeks before your event date.
When should I finalize the order?
We confirm all items with our clients 6 weeks before their event date in case anything has changed. Your order must be finalized at this time, as we put in our order with the floral markets after this.
Will you provide me with an itemized floral proposal of all the elements we’ve discussed, along with prices?
Yes.
What is your refund policy if for some reason I need to cancel my order?
When can I expect to receive my contract from you?
We send our formal proposal and contract over to you after you’ve let us know that you’d like to officially book us for your event. We make every effort to get this to you within 48 hours of hearing those words from you, but it may take longer if we’re in the middle of another event at the time. It will never be more than 5 days from you letting us know you’ve chosen US for your event. Yay!!!
Ok. So how are you all feeling? Was it too much info? Haha! We hope that this series of blog posts is helpful to you as you plan your event! We always tell clients that the most important thing to us is to be helpful. Comment below if you have any questions, and we’ll be happy to answer! Happy wedding planning!
xx
