Lots of you have been asking what the difference is between a Booking Agreement for our floral design services for your wedding, and the Final Quote that we send to you after you’ve already booked us.
As a flower shop, we get loads of questions like this. We thought that it might be helpful to create a little infographic to better explain to you the difference between these two things, and why they happen in the order that they happen in.
Our booking agreement is a simple contract that confirms our intent to work together, with us as your Nashville wedding flower designers and you as our clients.
It’s purpose is to let both ourselves and our clients know that we are formally committed to working together for your event.
Must be signed BEFORE we begin any work for your event. Is sent AFTER you let us know you’ve decided to officially move forward with us.
Our retainer fee is due when you submit your Booking Agreement. This fee is credited towards your final quote/invoice with us for your wedding.
Our formal quote is the final, detailed invoice for your wedding that includes all the floral arrangements and pieces that we discuss during your consultation.
It’s purpose is to account for the curated selection of flower arrangements we’ll be providing for you on your event date.
Is sent to the client AFTER our 1 hour floral consult, where we iron out all the beautiful floral details of your event.
The total balance of your invoice is due 45 days before your event. Your retainer fee is credited towards this balance.
Our main goals in working with wedding clients are to ensure that is simple, easy to understand and that we are as helpful as possible. Please ask any wedding flower questions you might have for us below!
xx
